I have now oficially had enough of computers.
Having received my new computer (plug and play) it was not.
Nearly everything needed down loading, up loading, installing etc etc. poor T spent 9 hours trying to get the computer to speak to the printer.
There was something wrong with the default browser (what in gods name is that)
Now I can not load pictures from the screen into the blog.
Now at 45 I am not ancient, unless you are 17 years old, but i wonder if my mother would have any idea what all this is about. She is damned sharp but really………why can the computer instructions not be written by normal people FOR normal people. Where is my ether net, I can not find it, dashboard and dock I thought was something in a car and something the space shuttle did.
I am seriously thinking about returning to faxes and paper and pen.

Hi Simon,
Would you please consider to give me some quick advice? Rented an apartment in Stockholm, after work, in the ‘dark’. Upon moving in, we noticed the walls were all different colours, including the most hideous blue+yellow striped with stars etc. What to do apart from wall papering. Is there something ‘temporary’ I can apply to the wall?

I bought a printer today & my brother installed it, I’m more hopeless than you, but as long as I can google & access farmville I’m rather cheerful.

Jag håller med! Önskar att jag levde på 1800-talet istället. Är så trött på tekniken, även om jag använder den själv (minimalt). Min förra dator strulade, jag försökte fixa, det tog timme efter timmme. Till slut köpte jag en ny (på avbetalning) men den krånglar också. Dessutom orkar jag inte lära mig alla funktioner. Varför köpte jag en dator med Blue-ray, cd-brännare och inbyggd webcam när jag inte behöver det. Jo datorn var snygg, ha,ha… svart pianolack och andra snygga detaljer. Suck.. min förra dator som till slut kraschade pga min okunnighet köpte jag också för färgens skull (svart), när någon kille på jobbet frågade; vad har du för dator? så svarade jag att jag hade en svart Dell-dator, men hur många giggabit och ramminne och sånt, det hade jag ingen aning om. Sen gick det som det gick. Nu har jag en snygg, alltför dyr HP bärbar dator som jag använder till mail och surfar på internet. Måste lära mig vart man stoppar in dvd-skivan åtminstone
