It’s Thursday, so I thought why not shake things up a bit and do a Friday Question and Answer session on a Thursday. So here we go:

I am very sorry to hear about your parents. There is nothing more I wish I could do than to help you and other people in need. Sadly, running two businesses, working on a handful of projects as well as filming a television show take up all my time. My best advice to you, and everyone else who wants design help, is to keep an eye out on the TV3 website. If and/or when a new season is planned you will find all the information you need there to apply to the show.

I can understand that you have a problem. Have you tried contacting the builder or contractor who made your house? Perhaps they have an easy solution. The other option is to paint the furu ceiling in a colour you actually enjoy looking at.

Thank you. Though we miss the weather in the West Indies, it is quite lovely to be back.

The pattern used in the opening segment of Design: Simon & Tomas was created specifically for the show. I am sadly not sure who designed them. The production company that produces the show might know: www.strix.tv
You could also try to get an artistic friend to copy them for you.

Ida

A great comment. You are correct. It is our job. We try to help when we can, but sadly that is not always possible. Good things for us otherwise we would “ligger… risigt till” with all your questions. I am not a great believer in using smiley faces, but for you Ida, here it is.

In other news:

We begin filming the new season of the show on Monday. We will be filming for the next ten weeks. I think it will be a fun season as there are some truly hideous homes we will be working on. We also have a few föreläsningar this spring including Luleå, Sundsvall and Krisitanstad. T and I truly enjoy doing these as well as meeting our viewers.

We also have a few other fun projects lined up, but that is something that will have to wait for another blog entry.
