Well……..we have now done bingo lotto which was great fun. As I thought Lotta was really fantastic and the whole evening passed off with out a major incident. What was really amazing was having 2 people on the show win a million kronor. It really was quite amazing to be so close.
Up at 0530 this morning to catch the train back to stockholm and filming.
T & I are utterly exhausted but is feels nice to be able to pack in so much at our advanced age.

Just arrived at the Bingo studio and met Lotta who seems very cool, professional and pleasant. I think we will enjoy working with her this evening.
Went to a great party last night out at Telegrafberget. left Nybrokajen by boat as the sun was going down, really beautiful. Lots of fun people, drink, good food and music. This morning though was a little rough.
Thanks for the tips Josie, will certainly have a look…….it sounds quite dreadful.

Now back in stockholm after a fun week in Sundsvall and the weather is glorious. The boys were so happy to be out in the snow before work today and it really felt like there MIGHT be spring in the air.
T & I had a sneak preview of show one of the new season that will be shown on thursday 18th at 2000. They have changed the time and we are before Lyxfällan. I must confess that the editors, loggers, sound and camera guys have done a great job. I had tears in my eyes because of some of the scenes.
Tomorrow T & I are off to Göteborg for Bingo Lotto. Now I am nervous as we have not done so much live TV………in front of a million people.
I am worried I might say something I should not…I already want a martini but think that might not be a good idea. Anyway, lets see how it goes.

No, no one who participates in the television show pays. In regards to the chairs - “mysigt” means different things to different people. The leopard chairs are by one of our favourite designers William Haines (he was also a Hollywood star of the 1920’s and 1930’s). I agree though, the chairs are not suitable to sip tea in. I much prefer to enjoy a gin and tonic in them.

Many hotels in Sweden actually accept dogs as guests. I hope it was not just because it was us that Percy and Pooter were welcome. I think anyone should be able to bring their dog along.

Completely beat. 2000 and have just finished filming having been in the loppis barn all day. Boys have been very badly behaved and spent the day trying to talk to the pigs and chase the cats. All very stressful.
Sundsvall has been melting all day which means spring MIGHT be on the way. I hear stockholm has been glorious all day, has been gray as hell here.
Tomorrow back to the city and reality………not sure I am ready for the bright lights againm.

Gorgeous day yesterday, today gray and a little rain…….which is when we went skiing.
Millions of kids on the slopes all waiting for us to fall over and break something but we did not. Actually I am rather proud of T and myself as I do not think we made complete fools of ourselves.
Now back at the hotel and can feels my muscles getting a little stiffer, I am sure tomorrow will be hell. very lucky that I have a sauna in the room so I might take an hour with a few beers.

Woke up this morning to glorious sunshine and warm, about +1 degree.
Staying at the First Hotel and have a great suite overlooking the water. They even left 2 dog bowls in the room with some dog treats which I thought was such a good idea. Nice to be welcomed with dogs rather than having everyone having an allergy attack and trying to get rid of you. Well done First Hotel!
We are off in a few minutes to see the family, they have the most enormous Grande Danoise, the boys should find this an interesting experience.
Tommorw we will go and do a skiing scene. I was thinking about this and realised I have skied for 3 days in the last 25 years. If I drop dead at the bottom of the slope you will know why.

If you buy next week’s edition of the magazine “S” you can also see it there. Which makes me realize it has been seen quite a lot, which probably means we should redecorate. The bedroom is not finished and I have huge plans for a massive collection of Chinese calligraphy brushes but there never seems time to go to Shanghai. There should never be an end to designing your home, it should be a lifes work.

The way to create light in a dark room is to use good lighting, such as table lamps and floor lamps. I know it might seem obvious but I am amazed how many people think a 20w light bulb will give you all the light you need if the walls are white. And contrary to popular belief, you can use colour even if the room is dark. The simple thing to try is add way more light than you think you need but put everything on dimmers, then you have 100% control.

The olive oil shop is called A L’Olivier and is located on Grev Turegatan 18 in Stockholm. Come by, it has some really wonderful oils, provencale, lemon and ginger, dried tomatoes, mint…..the list is endless.

back in town now after a beautiful week on the island. there was so much snow and peace it was very relaxing. However it is the poor sound and camera guys I feel sorry for, stadning about all day whist T & I were in hair and makeup!
Next week of to Timrå which should be interesting as a new destination for me.

It has been a jolly weekend and last night at a great party at the Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden. Interesting people, great food and decided to stay there the night so as not to have a taxi.
I have never really thought of staying in a hotel in the city I live in but I think I will do it more often. There really something very civilised about the whole idea, room service, you do not have to clean up after your self and all you need to do is pack your tooth brush.
I am tempted to go and stay at the Grand next weekend, how nice to spend all morning in the spa.
I was looking for something on the internet yesterday and came across this piece of furniture……..all too bizarre.
Off to Ljusterö filming tomorrow, 3 filmed, 7 to go.
